  • As per Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council, the benignly named "Equality Act doesn’t just torch religious freedom and the First Amendment, it guts every pro-life protection ever passed into law" (See also Liberty Counsel, National Review, USCCB).  Unless he now divorces himself from this bill that he co-sponsored (!!!), pro life people in Pa's 1st congressional district should not even think about voting for Brian Fitzpatrick!
    • Concerned that it was about to be brought up for a senate vote, the AFA asked us earlier this week to tell our U.S. senators: "The Equality Act (H.R.5) sounds like it's well meaning, but the bill has nothing to do with equality. Rather, it has everything to do with criminalizing religious liberty because it bans the use of the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA) as a legal defense from government discrimination"
