To allow resumption of public Masses and access to the Sacraments, please ask Archbishop Perez (absp.nperez@archphila.org) and/ or Bishop O'Connell (doconn@dioceseoftrenton.org) to consider the following:
-
1) That priests be afforded the time to celebrate more Masses with small groups of people, by temporarily discontinuing homilies. This would let Masses be reverent and speedier than that to which we are accustommed.
2) That he provide dispensations to fulfill the "Sunday obligation" on other days of the week, further ensuring Masses with under 10 people.
3) That he allow drive up Masses in large parking lots where the faithful could remain in their vehicles.
4) That he provide dispensations to allow penitents to confess telephonically or by video.
