- If those in the trenches do not see the USCCB (or state Catholic conferences or diocesan pro life offices) as strong allies, wouldn't monies be better spent on such things as mobile ultrasound units?
Many bishops & other clergy are NOT seen as strongly pro life, in the sense of seeing abortion as an horrendous evil & the first priority for pro life advocacy. Perhaps, the same could be said of their treatment of marriage/ family/ sexuality. With God's truth treated as matters of opinion, many "Catholic" schools, social services, and hospitals give half hearted witnesses to life & marriage/ family. Yet, God has again parted the waters for His people.
