• While Catholics are rightly aghast at revelations of scandalous situations from which many shepherds appear to have looked away, the USCCB continues to fail to protect the very lives of our youngest brothers and sisters - the ultimate child abuse.  With regard to Catholic hospitals, medical evidence shows the inadequacy of a protocol described in the USCCB's ERDs (# 36).  Faithful Catholic physicians have told us that so-called emergency "contraception" can NEVER be used without the danger of abortion.  Yet, the USCCB seems to instead follow the lead of the physician-less National Catholic Bioethics Center (NCBC), which has NOT come out against the use of so-called emergency "contraception."
