While Brian Fitzpatrick is undoubtedly the better choice in Pa's new first congressional district, it is quite the stretch for Pa Pro Life to identify him as "pro life" and NOT simply "leans pro life." To pretend otherwise is a disservice to him and to his constituents.
At last look, Fitzpatrick is NOT co-sponsoring the Life at Conception, Sanctity of Life, Heartbeat Protection, Child Welfare Provider Inclusion, First Amendment Defense, or Conscience Protection Acts, nor H Con Res 80 (opposing assisted suicide). He voted for the recent spending bill that kept money flowing to Planned Parenthood. He did not join his colleagues in a letter protesting the purchase of body parts from aborted human beings. So how does Fitzpatrick get to be called "pro life"?
While it won't tell you about the opponents of anyone currently running for office, you can check here on the performance of the Pa and NJ delegations in DC, regarding current legislation.
