In a Nutshell....

  • March for Marriage: "The March for Marriage is set for Saturday, April 25th [at 10 a.m, near the Capital in DC] which is within days of when the Supreme Court is expected to hear oral argument on the cases before them that will decide the legal status of marriage."  If the Archdiocese does not organize buses to the March (Keep an eye on www.phillycatholiclife.org.), Amtrak can take you from Trenton to DC's Union Station in 2.5 hours (about $52, each way).
  • Pharmacy Ads: All but a handful of pharmacies - across the country - sell abortifacients and contraceptives. The St Clare Pharmacy is the only pharmacy in the Bucks Cty/Jersey area believed to NOT sell abortifacients and contraceptives.  Hence, it boggles the mind that
OLA (Trenton) is advertising Vizzoni's and Episcopo's,
    OLS/St.Anthony's (Trenton) is advertising Episcopo's and Risoldi's,
St.Ann's (Lawrenceville) is advertising McGrath's and Penlar, and
St. Charles Borromeo (Bensalem) is advertising Riccio's!
Seeing nonsense appear in parish bulletins brings to mind shopkeepers of conscience forced out of business, because of refusal to compromise their consciences.  Please send an email.

  • SB 549: As per the Pa Pro Life Federation, "Please contact the pro-life members of the [Pennsylvania] Senate Judiciary Committee with this urgent message:  'I urge you to oppose [emphasis added] Senate Bill 549, the assisted suicide bill. The legislation would hurt people with disabilities and the frail elderly.'  Here is the contact information for the pro-life members of the Senate Judiciary Committee:

  • UN to Measure Countries’ Access to Abortion and LGBT Acceptance: "UN officials have produced a preliminary list of indicators to measure development....The indicators could give leverage to governments and activists who press countries to do away with protections for unborn children, and seek to make sexual orientation and gender identity a legal ground of non-discrimination"
