"As a taxpayer, I'm appalled that my tax dollars are going to an organization that so callously defends the commercial sale of unborn baby body parts. Planned Parenthood, who is responsible for over half of the abortions in PA every year, must be investigated. Pennsylvania should represent life and hope, not a culture of death."
On July 21st, U.S. Representative Diane Black introduced HR3134, "the Defund Planned Parenthood Act of 2015." Please note that Mike Fitzpatrick is NOT among the 137 co-sponsors of HR 3134 (https://www.congress.gov/bill/114th-congress/house-bill/3134/all-info).
On 7/22/15, U.S. Senator James Lankford introduced S1836 , "A bill to provide for a moratorium on Federal funding Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Inc." On 7/24/15, U.S. Senator Rand Paul introduced S1861, "A bill to prohibit Federal funding of Planned Parenthood Federation of America." Please note that neither Senator Casey nor Senator Toomey are among the co-sponsors of S1836 or S1861.
