"Thank you so much for your calls and emails to state Senators in support of Senate Bill 857, the telemedicine bill. The bill has now passed the PA Senate, with the critical language intact that bans the telemedicine distribution of dangerous drugs, such as the RU-486 abortion pill [See: https://www.legis.state.pa.us/cfdocs/legis/RC/Public/rc_view_action2.cfm?sess_yr=2019&sess_ind=0&rc_body=S&rc_nbr=434]. The bill had previously passed the PA House of Representatives, so the measure now goes to the Governor.
