St Clare of Assisi (7/16/1194 - 8/11/1253): In a 1961 NY Times review of Francis of Assisi, A.H. Weiler offered a snide assessment of the female lead: "Dolores Hart, as Clare, is simply a pretty blonde who keeps declaring her love of the faith." As per Wikepedia, "Two years after the release..., Dolores Hart...became a real-life Roman Catholic nun at the Benedictine Abbey of Regina Laudis in Bethlehem, Connecticut."
