| Once again, the NJ Legislature is pushing through legislation at the very last minute without giving sufficient notice to the public. Yesterday, myself and several other pro-life leaders attended a 4 hour hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee to testify against these bills. The bills passed out of committee along party lines with Democrats voting to release the bills and Republicans voting no or abstaining. These bills and one other are now scheduled for tomorrow's Voting Sessions in both the Assembly and Senate. Please take the following action immediately and spread the word to friends and family to do the same. Here is the link on the NJ legislature page to find your legislator: https://njleg.state.nj.us/legislative-roster You can also call the Office of Legislative Services during normal business hours at 1-800-792-8630. When calling, provide your town and county and ask for the contact information for your two Assembly members and State Senator Contact your two Assembly Members and urge them to Vote No on A3974 and A3975. In short, these bills are part of a larger effort to make NJ a sanctuary state on abortion. These bills will increase the number of abortions and put more women's lives at risk. Under the language of the bill, NJ will open our borders and give safe harbor to sex traffickers, sexual predators of minors and disreputable abortion providers and all who prey on women in crisis. We should not interfere in the actions of other states but solve the many problems in our own state. Contact your State Senator and tell them to Vote No on S2642 and S2633.
