In 1263, Father Peter "had just finished the words of consecration when blood began to seep
from the Host onto the altar and corporal....Fr. Peter
immediately journeyed to Orvieto where Pope Urban VI was residing at
the time...the pontiff...had the host and blood-stained corporal brought to the
Cathedral in Orvieto [The above photo is from a 2015 pilgrimage to Orvieto.] where they are still venerated today, and

- In "The ABCs of L.G.B.T.Q.I.A.+" (updated 6/7/19), the NY Times tries to guide us through a collection of initials and notes the plus sign is "Not just a mathematical symbol anymore, but a denotation of everything on the gender and sexuality spectrum that letters and words can't yet describe". Huh?
