Demand an effective and MORAL vaccine!

  • Wanted: A COVID-19 vaccine that’s safe, effective, and moral (Sister Renee Mirkes, 5/4/2020)
    (NOTE: Sister's explanation of "cooperation" should be better informed by the Pontifical Academy for Life (2005):
    "Formal cooperation is carried out when the moral agent cooperates with the immoral action of another person, sharing in the latter’s evil intention. On the other hand, when a moral agent cooperates with the immoral action of another person without sharing his or her evil intention, it is a case of material cooperation.
    "Material cooperation can be further divided into categories of immediate (direct) and mediate (indirect), depending on whether the cooperation is in the execution of the sinful action per se, or whether the agent acts by fulfilling the conditions— either by providing instruments or products—which make it possible to commit the immoral act. Furthermore, forms of proximate cooperation and remote cooperation can be distinguished, in relation to the 'distance' (be it in terms of temporal space or material connection) between the act of cooperation and the sinful act committed by someone else. Immediate material cooperation is always proximate, while mediate material cooperation can be either proximate or remote.
    "Formal cooperation is always morally illicit because it represents a form of direct and intentional participation in the sinful action of another person.11 Material cooperation can sometimes be illicit (depending on the conditions of the 'double effect' or 'indirect voluntary' action), but when immediate material cooperation concerns grave attacks on human life, it is always to be considered illicit, given the precious nature of the value in question.12"

  • Since the week ending 2/1/20, CDC weekly death totals in the U.S. have generally fallen BELOW expectations:
      • "The correct procedure from the beginning (and if this is Monday morning quarterbacking, so be it) should have been to shelter the elderly and vulnerable—those with pre-existing conditions—and let the rest of the population undergo infection with no or non-severe symptoms" (Bob Kurland, PhD, 4/28/20).
        • In the 2nd  part of his article, Dr Kurland seems to be suggesting "garbage in, garbage out" (i.e., We have been fed unreliable data.).



  • STRIKE DOWN the "Abortion on Demand Act" [aka, the deceptively named “Women’s Health Protection Act of 2019”] (Susan B Anthony List)
  • Support the Heartbeat Bill, HR 3985 (cf, LifeSite)
  • Give feedback to Senate on Born-Alive Survivors' Protection and Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act votes (Human Life Action)
  • Support the Life at Conception Act
  • Support the Child Welfare Provider Inclusion Act (cf, USCCB)
    • Opppose the Misnamed International Violence Against Women Act (cf, C-Fam)
      • Oppose HJ Res 79, as it is "intended to insert language into the U.S. Constitution that could invalidate any limits whatsoever on abortion, including late abortions, and require government funding of abortion"  (cf, NRLC) 
      • Oppose the Misleadingly Named Medicare for All Act (cf., Politico)
        • Support S. 2394/HR2529, the New START Nuclear Weapons Treaty (USCCB) 
        • NO to "the Shaheen amendment...[in] the Senate’s State, Foreign Operations and Related Programs (SFOPS) appropriations bill" (Human Life Action).
