Dear Pro-Life Leaders,
Please call and email your Pennsylvania state representative with this message: "For the health and safety of Pennsylvania women, I urge you to oppose House Bill 2332. Abortion centers should have to abide by basic health and safety standards."
House Bill 2332, sponsored by state Representative Steven Santarsiero, would repeal our common sense Pennsylvania law which ensures that abortion facilities meet standard health and safety priorities (See http://www.legis.state.pa.us/cfdocs/billinfo/billinfo.cfm?syear=2015&sind=0&body=H&type=B&bn=2332 ).
Our abortion center regulation law was a necessary response to the massive tragedy in West Philadelphia, where abortionist Kermit Gosnell was convicted of killing three full-term babies and causing the death of a female patient. The grand jury believed that Gosnell actually killed hundreds of babies, along with hurting countless numbers of women, but charges could be brought only in a handful of cases, because Gosnell destroyed so many records.
