"Every child comes from a mother and a father and to deliberately deprive a child of knowing to be loved by his mother and father is an outright injustice."

"Love is the answer, but love in truth....Every child comes from a mother and a father and to deliberately deprive a child of knowing to be loved by his mother and father is an outright injustice...none of these solutions [i.e., He mentioned various social initiatives] will have a lasting effect if we do not rebuild a marriage culture....Praise to God forever and ever.  Amen" (Archbishop Cordileone, March for Marriage, 6/19/14).

As chairman of the USCCB's Subcommittee for the Promotion and Defense of Marriage, Archbishop Cordileone is urging support and co-sponsorship in the U.S. House of Representatives for
  • the Marriage Protection Amendment to the U.S. Constitution (HJ Res 51),
  • the Marriage and Religious Freedom Act (HR 3133), and
  • the State Marriage Defense Act (HR 3829).

How has Pennsylvania's representation in the U.S. House of Representatives been responding?
Bravo Representatives Mike Kelly, Joe Pitts, Keith Rothfus, and Bill Shuster!  Bravo Bravissimo!

BTW, the March for Marriage was NOT just a Catholic event, NOT just a Christian event....
