A2270/S382 would legalize assisted suicide in NJ

As per Bishop O'Connell of the Trenton Diocese, "The 'NJ Death with Dignity Act' is immoral and, therefore, unacceptable for Catholics to support." As per today's update from NJ Right to Life ,

• " On June 5, 2014, the NJ Assembly Health and Senior Services committee released Bill A2270 from committee by a vote of 8-4 along party lines. The bill was amended to change the name from the NJ Death with Dignity Act to the NJ Aid in Dying for the Terminally ill.  The referendum lanaguage was also removed so it will not be a question that will go before the voters at election time. It still has the same bill number, which is A2270....Please contact your two Assembly members and State senator immediately and tell them to vote NO on A2270/S382.  Please also contact Governor Christie and urge him to veto this bill"
