Earlier today at the Archdiocesan offices, I was fortunate to see"3801 Lancaster." Afterward, filmmaker David Altrogge and the Bucks County Courier Times' J.D. Mullane (who covered the Kermit Gosnell trial) spoke with the audience.
It was the atrocious revelations of filth and heinous practices at Gosnell's abortuary, which led to Pa's Act 122 of 2011, setting minimum, common sense standards. Unbelievably, Pa State Senator Leach is seeking to repeal it!

Dear Pro-Life Leader,
The Pennsylvania Pro-Life Federation encourages you to call and email your state Senator and urge him or her not to co-sponsor Senator Daylin Leach’s bill which would repeal our abortion center regulation law (You can find the co-sponsorship memo at http://www.legis.state.pa.us/cfdocs/Legis/CSM/showMemoPublic.cfm?chamber=S&SPick=20170&cosponId=21944 ).
Act 122 of 2011 is a common sense law which requires that abortion centers meet basic health and safety standards. It was a response to the horrible Kermit Gosnell case, in which the West Philadelphia abortionist was accused of killing hundreds of full-term babies by snipping their spinal cords, and causing the deaths of a number of women. Gosnell is now in prison after being convicted of the deaths of three babies and one female patient (Prosecutors said charges could not be brought in the rest of the cases because Gosnell had destroyed records.).
Act 122 is Constitutional and is important for safeguarding the health and safety of Pennsylvania women.
Please urge your state Senator to oppose Senator Leach’s bill to repeal Act 122 of 2011. If you don’t know who your state Senator is, or you need contact information, please visit http://www.legis.state.pa.us/cfdocs/legis/home/findyourlegislator/#address .
Please note: This is a state issue, not a federal one, so you do not need to contact U.S. Senators Bob Casey and Pat Toomey.
Thank you so much for making these critical calls and sending these important emails!
All the best,
Maria V. Gallagher
