Mike Kelly (R., Pa.) have introduced in each house the Child Welfare Provider Inclusion Act of 2017, which attempts to provide federal protection for these faith-based agencies....The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) supports the legislation....The Senate number for the bill is S 811. The companion bill in the House is HR 1881." • If SB 613 or HB 1410 were to become law in Pennsylvania, "It would force religious adoption and foster care agencies to either violate their beliefs and place children in homes without a mother and father or cease serving children and close" (PaFamily.org).  Yet, Bucks County's Davis, Galloway, Quinn, Warren, and Watson are co-sponsors!
